Building Analyst Professional (BA-P)
Certification
Turn Diagnostics into Action: Become a Building Analyst Professional

An Advanced Credential for Experienced Home Performance Professionals

BA-Ps go beyond diagnostics - they analyze energy modeling data, evaluate building systems, and deliver prioritized recommendations to improve comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality.

This certification builds on the foundational Building Analyst Technician (BA-T) credential and is earned by passing a written exam. Together, BA-T and BA-P offer a powerful pathway to deeper expertise in whole-home performance.

Recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy, the BA-P is approved for use in the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (Section 25C) and the State Energy Office Contractor Training Grant Program.

Take your building science knowledge to the next level - and get recognized for it.
