Keith spent the last decade as co-founder at BlocPower, a climate tech start-up focused on energy efficiency in buildings. During his time at BlocPower, Keith led the Solarize Brownsville program, which partnered with NYSERDA and community stakeholders to install solar panels on two hundred homes in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. He currently serves as Interim Director of Operations at Browning the Green Space, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit working to advance equity in clean energy and climate tech.
Keith also serves on a volunteer basis as board chair for the Building Performance Institute, co-chair for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s energy committee and a trustee at the Brooklyn Hospital.

Mimi Burbage

Alaska Housing Finance Agency
Ms. Burbage has spent over four decades working in building energy efficiency, affordable housing, and community and economic development in Alaska. She previously led a nonprofit that provided weatherization services statewide, with a focus on rural and remote communities.
She currently serves as Program Manager for Weatherization Services at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, overseeing statewide programs funded through a combination of state and federal resources. In this role, she administers grants to 15 agencies, ensures compliance with DOE and state regulations, and conducts final QCI inspections for each agency. Ms. Burbage also serves as President of Energy Outwest, a peer exchange organization for the western region, supporting collaboration and innovation in the field of energy efficiency.
She currently serves as Program Manager for Weatherization Services at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, overseeing statewide programs funded through a combination of state and federal resources. Sussex County Habitat for Humanity
Apryl Simmons has dedicated nearly 30 years to workforce development, building strong partnerships between employers and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including youth, military veterans, career changers, and second-chance individuals. She currently serves her local community at Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s Healthy Home Repairs program. In addition, she operates a workforce development consultancy, creating programs and partnerships in a variety of industries and new training initiatives, including standing up apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships, and workforce programs in every industry sector.
Prior to this, Apryl spent 17 years with the Home Builders Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders, where she played a key role in advancing workforce initiatives within the construction industry. Her commitment to fostering career pathways has made a lasting impact on communities and the industries she serves.

Robert De Vries

Bob has spent over 40 years in the building industry, beginning his career as a light commercial and residential electrician. During this time, he earned a Master Electrician License from the State of Michigan, honing his expertise in electrical systems and construction.
He currently serves as Director of Product Support and Development at Nu-Wool LLC, where he leads efforts to advance material standards, building codes, and product innovation. His work ensures Nu-Wool remains at the forefront of sustainable and high-performance building solutions.
Bob is also an active member of ASTM, ASHRAE, and the ICC, contributing his expertise to industry standards and the ongoing advancement of building materials and practices.

Cornelious Richardson III

Cornelious is an experienced Energy Auditor and Weatherization Coordinator with a strong background in the non-profit sector. With expertise spanning energy efficiency, construction, carpentry, and cabinetry, he has built a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions that make homes safer, healthier, and more efficient. Beyond his professional achievements, Cornelious is passionate about giving back to his community, including mentoring and coaching youth sports. His hands-on skills, combined with his leadership and dedication, make him a valued advocate for advancing energy efficiency and empowering future generations.

Keith is a Director at CLEAResult, where he leads energy efficiency programs for gas and electric utilities across a 23-state region. With two decades of experience in residential energy efficiency, corporate sustainability, product development, and marketing, he also serves as one of CLEAResult’s Inflation Reduction Act subject matter experts.
Prior to joining CLEAResult, Keith was Director of Corporate Sustainability for an international nonprofit, where he developed and launched North America’s first employee energy benefit program. He also led a rapid rebuilding effort in New Orleans, renovating 44 Katrina-damaged homes in 100 days and cutting energy usage by an average of 48% for low-income residents. The project earned recognition with the Affordable Housing Built Responsibly award in 2009.
Keith holds a BBA in Management from the University of Mississippi and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. A seven-time national motocross champion, he resides in the Nashville area with his wife and their very spoiled dogs.

Under Bobby’s leadership, Comfort Kings delivers essential services through various utility programs in the DC metro area, helping homeowners and businesses achieve significant energy savings. Beyond his work with Comfort Kings, Bobby has contributed to high-profile projects, including collaborations with Habitat for Humanity and serving as a project manager and contractor consultant for multiple home improvement television episodes.

Phil Hull

Phil is the Director of the CHP Energy Solutions (IREC Accredited) Research and Training Center. Phil joined CHP Energy Solutions in 2010 as a trainer. He holds a master’s degree in building science from Appalachian State University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology management from Berea College. Phil started his career performing audits on residential and light commercial buildings in North Carolina. He has trained nationally and internationally. Phil is an EOW board member and holds multiple Building Performance Institute certifications and a VA Residential Building Analyst licensure.
Kimberly Llywellyn
Kalos Services
Kimberly Llewellyn has been dedicated to the construction industry since 2010, specializing in HVAC design, building moisture forensics, owners representation for resilient development projects and training related to variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and integrated mechanical system design. Her extensive field experience as a HERS rater and building forensics consultant has provided her with a holistic perspective on building practices that pass the test of time. In addition to joining BPI's board she also serves as Phius' board chair and serves on several ASHRAE committees as a voting member. Llewellyn played a pivotal role at Mitsubishi Electric Trane US as the technical lead for the performance construction team, where she provided technical support and training to sustainable development project teams. In her most recent post on the METUS product team, her focus was specification development for indoor air quality (IAQ), humidity control, and energy-efficient technologies critical to healthy and sustainable buildings. Her new venture launching July 2025 with colleagues Bryan and Nathan Orr is a building science and trades based engineering firm.

Fuilala Riley is the Chief Executive Officer of HELP of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness one individual, one family, and one youth at a time.
During her 22-year tenure, Riley has expanded programs, led four nonprofit mergers, and oversaw the construction of the 150-bed Shannon West Homeless Youth Center, with plans underway for HELP’s first permanent supportive housing development. Recognized as a Bank of America Emerging Leader, VEGAS Inc. Woman to Watch, and Nevada Women’s Fund Woman of Achievement, she continues to serve on multiple advisory committees and chairs the Southern Nevada CEO Exchange, driving collaboration among the region’s largest nonprofits to strengthen community safety and well-being.

Throughout his career, he has provided research, consulting, and design services for commercial, multifamily, and residential buildings. Adam has cultivated strong relationships with industry stakeholders to develop training programs that address critical skill gaps and support the growth of energy engineering and clean energy technology. A recognized leader in his field, he has delivered over 150 workshops and presentations on topics ranging from heat pump design to high-performance building construction at conferences worldwide.

Cooksey has authored numerous technical contributions for leading industry journals and continues to consult for contractors, distributors, and weatherization agencies. Derek Schroeder

Derek Schroeder has dedicated more than 17 years to advancing the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). He began his career in 2006 as a Crew Member with Couleecap in Southwest Wisconsin, later serving as Crew Leader, Energy Auditor, and ultimately Lead Energy Auditor, where he oversaw program operations and field performance.
In 2015, Derek transitioned to the state level, joining Wisconsin’s WAP as a Program and Policy Analyst before becoming Lead Training and Technical Assistance Analyst, helping to strengthen statewide program delivery and standards.
Today, Derek serves at the federal level as a Policy Advisor and Technical Project Officer with the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., where he supports national initiatives to improve energy efficiency, strengthen weatherization programs, and enhance housing performance across the country.
